The Littke Palace Visitor Centre is a unique attraction not only in Hungary but also internationally. The five-storey underground building is remarkable in itself, but all the more so because of the work that goes on within its walls. Lőrinc Littke laid the foundations of traditional champagne making here in 1859. A guided tour of the cellar labyrinth and the sparkling wine cellar is worthwhile, where you can learn about traditional sparkling wine-making techniques and take part in a tasting.
