From the centre of the town, you can also take a tram to Nagyerdő, where a spring with abundant water was discovered at the end of the 19th century, and the first bathhouse and entertainment centre was built there. The classicist building has been a restaurant for decades, and a futuristic experience kingdom, the Aquaticum, awaits those who want to heal and relax. You can relax in the Mediterranean Adventure Bath with its tropical atmosphere all year round, and in summer, children can enjoy slides, water cannons and an adventure pool on the beach, young people can enjoy sports fields and a swimming pool, and medicinal and relaxation pools await adults.

Berekfürdő Spa and Beach, Berekfürdő
Three things certainly come to mind when you think of the Karcag region: the Cumans, the mutton stew and the medicinal water of Berek.
While in the beginning the spring water was collected in a pool made of planks in Berekfürdő, nowadays 12 pools, a beach surrounded by shady trees and a sauna house await guests.
In the summer, a monthly spa ball is held, and you can also enter a beach volleyball tournament.
Kamilla Spa, Balmazújváros
The thermal water of the spa, built in the former park of Semsey Castle, is recommended for the treatment of joint diseases, and there are also children's pools and adventure pools that offer relaxation. The spa is special because it has the largest sauna house in the country, the healing effects of which can be enjoyed by up to a hundred people at a time. The speciality of the Sauna Village is the Kelo sauna, built using centuries-old Finnish silver pine trees.

In the capital of the Hajdús, who else could the spa bear the name of than Prince István Bocskai? Geologists searching for oil and natural gas discovered the 75-degree Celsius thermal water. The name of the geologist who led the research, Ferenc Pávai-Vajna, is now preserved by a bottled mineral water. The former market-town now has the largest spa facility in Europe. The spa offers more than forty treatments, mainly for rheumatic, musculoskeletal and gynaecological complaints. Hajdúszoboszló was awarded the “Treasures of Hungary – Spa” trademark thanks to its outstanding range of tourist services.
