Traditional chequered tablecloth tavern atmosphere in Szeged. József Kőrössy and his son opened their restaurant in 1930, where today Jr. Tibor Kiss and his team serve the guests. Hungarian dishes based on traditional recipes include the iconic Kőrössy fish soup and fish paprikash, as well as the cottage cheese pasta with cracklings. Of course, the menu also includes poultry and game dishes, as well as meat-free variations, and on the dessert front, there is a choice of sweet gnocchi with custard and grated walnut and several types of pancakes. The covered and open-air terrace tavern overlooking the Tisza River features live music in winter and summer.
