Tandem

From a waterwork building to community space for cyclists, hikers and anyone looking for a good atmosphere. Szabolcs Solti, the manager of “Szimpla” (Simple) in Budapest, and his team await guests in the Danube Bend with a huge courtyard and a cosy interior. Moving along the lemonade – spritzer – beer axis, the Tandem is primarily a drinking and chatting spot, but also serves simpler beach food such as greasy bread, waffles and hot sandwiches. Concerts and musical events are held several times a week, and there is even a garden cinema.
