Olivér Nübel and Izabella Varga Éva produce Nübel dairy products from the milk of four of their own cows in Siófok-Töreki: among others, gomolya (traditional roundish cheese from the Great Hungarian Plain where it was made from sheep’s milk), yoghurt, grilled and aged cheeses, which are left to rest for six weeks in an old wine cellar. Cheeses are flavoured or smoked with a wide variety of spices, from basil to juniper and lavender. The manufactory is open to the public, but it is important to make an appointment in advance, and this is the only way to buy from them!
