The Platán complex is located in a breathtaking natural and built cultural environment, in the most popular part of Tata, on the shores of Öreg-tó, where amazing experiences await us. We find the unit consisting of several departments, which affect all our senses, next to the Tata Castle, in the shade of a more than 230-year-old plane. The Platán Bistro is located on the lakeside; which also includes two hotel parts: Platán Udvarház and Platán Utca. The Mirror Spa is a part of the Udvarház, as well as the Platán Gourmet Restaurant, where you can meet the practices of fine dining of the highest quality: colours, scents, tastes, textures, sights turn your head at every corner. In the Platán Gourmet Restaurant, you can taste the degustation menu in the context of a real "gastro theatre", and the "handiwork" of chef István Pesti deserves three cheers. What is on the plate, also in the space: the milieu of the restaurant, based on the designs of Zoltán Varró, the designer who won the New York Gold Key Award, perfectly reflects the works of István Pesti.

Platán Bisztró, located between the Esterházy Castle and the castle, is also extremely strong in sweet pampering: its own pastry-shop and ice cream workshop are also worth a visit. In fine weather, the terrace offers a magnificent view, and if we want to rest, we can lay our heads to sleep in Platán Udvarház or Platán Utca.

Attention, Verne fans: the Mövenpick BalaLand Resort and FamilyPark in Szántód is like stepping into the setting of the famous adventure novel Around the Earth in Eighty Days. On the outside, colonial Caribbean style, on the inside, fairy-tale spaces await families and couples. In the FamilyPark, which can also be visited separately, little ones can be enchanted by a light railway, its own private beach area, a playhouse and a huge and exciting playground that invites you to play, but you should not miss the family wellness slide empire and the park's outdoor water playground. Adults can also enjoy a jacuzzi, a panoramic sauna, a steam bath and a salt room.

In addition to entertainment, do not forget that BalaLand is also worth visiting for culinary experiences! For example, Tico Restaurant & Terrace is a part of the complex, where you can enjoy authentic Italian dolce vita: fresh stone-baked pizzas! Another pride of the establishment is the Reform club, which is the central bar of the hotel complex, with Caribbean rums, special cocktails and wines on the drink menu. If you get hungry, you will not draw a blank here either, you can order both local and international creations from the menu - among the latter the Mövenpick signature dishes, such as the Zurich veal or the Swiss carrot cake, are definitely worth trying!
