Berkes Pincészet

The Berkes Winery, founded in 2024, is situated on Derék Hill in Simontornya, on land planted with vines dating back several decades. This small-scale winery cultivates grapes on just over half a hectare, from which natural wines are produced in small batches using traditional methods and with minimal intervention. The range includes wines made from grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Olaszrizling (Riesling Italian), Portugieser and Zweigelt. The environmentally conscious cultivation methods involve no use of weedkillers, insecticides or artificial fertilisers, and the wines are produced exclusively from the winery’s own harvest.
