In the Bakony-Balaton Geopark, you can learn a lot about life on a working farm, especially about the native Hungarian domestic animals: you can wink at a cakiel sheep and find out what it feels like when a mangalitsa or a Hungarian grey cattle look back at you from a different angle than they are presented a textbook. You can visit the petting zoo, or go horse riding or on a horse-drawn carriage ride by appointment. After the amazing programmes, you can visit the photo and machinery exhibition, the spice and herb garden, and the buffet where you can buy and taste buffalo salami, among other things.
