“Pörc” (Greaves) is the centre of meat and delicacies lovers in Balatonkenese, where Jenő Kocsis, representing the fifth generation of a famous butcher dynasty, currently ensures impeccable quality. Located next to the delicatessen, the “Pörc Bisztó” (Greaves Bistro) was opened in 2018: its menu evokes the flavours of the past and includes ancient Hungarian dishes such as “csücsür” (pastry filled with pork) or the classic pig feet stew. It is also recommended to try the sausages, ribs and meatballs prepared on the grill in the open kitchen.
