At the “Nagyi Kertje Teázó” in Aszófő, you can choose from nearly a hundred different teas. It is a curiosity that their own signature teas are blended with lavender, and even lavender coffee is brewed! The tea delicacies are accompanied by home-baked biscuits with walnut and chocolate or lavender and chocolate. Try everybody’s favourite orange and chocolate cake or the chestnut and mascarpone cake, but if you don't have a sweet tooth, ask for something delicious like the bacon and cream “langalló” (Hungarian flatbread baked in the oven) or the cold foie gras served with toast.
