Chef Ferenc Dolbert and his wife Bernadett Balássa returned home from Austria after 14 years and opened “Málna”. They wanted to have a simple and good buffet at the Lake Balaton – and they are successful in this today. The menu includes typical beach dishes such as “lángos” (fried flatbread) and fried fish, as well as other classic dishes of Hungarian cuisines, such as Roast a lá Brasov or “lecsó” (pepper-tomato stew). For dessert, the steamed dumplings with vanilla sauce are definitely worth a try, based on feedback from guests.
