Following in the footsteps of his parents, confectioner Karl Harrer opened the first “Harrer Cukrászda” (Harrer Confectionery) in Hungary together with his wife Beatrix Harrer-Abosi. The shop in Sopron offers hand-made sweets, dragees, truffles, sweet tea cakes and hot chocolate. In addition to the award-winning apricot filled milk chocolate, you can also taste chocolates with olive oil, wine and pálinka, among others, but vegans are not left without a chocolate experience. Coffee lovers can indulge their passion with specialty coffees. Twice a day, there are also chocolate tastings, which give you an insight into the works of the workshop. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy the chocolate experience on the terrace, admiring the Tűztorony (Fire Tower).
