Festetics-kastély (Keszthely)

One of the most popular attractions around Lake Balaton is the Festetics Castle in Keszthely, which impresses many with its Baroque splendour. The Helikon Castle Museum, which has opened in the building, offers a glimpse into the everyday life of the aristocracy in the 18th and 19th centuries, a pleasant stroll through the English park with its exotic palm house, an impressive model railway exhibition and a detailed hunting and horse-drawn carriage exhibition. In summer, concerts and theatre performances are frequently held in the castle.
