Black Sheep Café & Kitchen (Debrecen)

If you would like to start the day with a hearty breakfast and a delicious cup of coffee, the Black Sheep in Debrecen has just what you are looking for. By opening the place, the masterminds sought to reform the gastronomic culture of Alsóörs, but they also fulfilled a teenage dream. They say the popularity of their burgers lies in their simplicity and the use of the best possible ingredients. The hamburger buns, for example, come from the Mákmoiselle bakery in Veszprém, and the hamburger meat is made according to their own recipe. Bitang Burger’s repertoire includes meat patties and pulled pork in a sandwich, and vegan guests can also indulge in the burger experience. While you are here, it is also worth exploring the drinks list, which includes local wines from the Badacsony wine region and the Káli Basin, as well as small-scale Hübris beers.

Panificio il Basilico (Szentendre)

The harmony of flour, sourdough and love of life: this is the philosophy of baker Szabolcs Szabadfi, founder of Panificio il Basilico, whose dedication is the basis of the atmosphere of the place. Located in Szentendre, the bakery and restaurant is set away from the bustling streets of the Danube town, in an idyllic setting on the banks of a babbling brook. The bakery-pizzeria-restaurant offers a variety of fresh, locally made artisan pastries, traditional Italian cuisine and Neapolitan-style pizzas. You should also bring your pet, as the restaurant is dog-friendly.
