A Hungarian ode to pasta. Eric and Máté Gabulya worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world before opening “Cvekedli” in Nyíregyháza. The restaurant features an open kitchen, and the menu is always based on fresh ingredients available at the given period. The well-known cabbage cvekedli is made with cabbage sautéed in honey and caramelized onions, but they also have pasta with cottage cheese and with semolina. The prices are friendly and the portions are enormous. You can also have dishes with gluten-free pasta.
