At Batha Porta, you can get an insight into the oil-making process (roasting, cold pressing), which is done using a manual wood press. You can also buy the 100% natural and additive-free oils on the spot: a bottle of pumpkin seed oil, known as the black gold of the Őrség region, is definitely worth a try. There is also a home restaurant, Kiscsupor, on the estate of the producer of the Őrség seed oils, where a range of regional dishes awaits guests every day. The dishes are prepared locally, almost exclusively from ingredients sourced from the farm and local producers. Reservations are required.
