Mágocsy Kastély és Vendégház

An outstanding landmark of the Bodrogköz region is the castle of the Mágóchy family. Resting on a romantic fortress wall, the building is a fine example of late Renaissance castle architecture (and the largest one in Hungary). There is a castle museum operated within its walls, but it is also worth taking a stroll through the 20-hectare Baron’s Garden, where some of the plant species are truly unique. The castle also has a guesthouse!
