Petőfi-Ház

The small one-storey house next to the Old College in Pápa is the third apartment of Sándor Petőfi. During the historical journey, you can enter the room where the writer and poet lived with the painter Soma Orlai Petrich, and where he and Móric Jókai planned their future. Another room in the house reveals Petőfi's experiences outside school, in Pápa, which are brought to life in the accompanying short film: the minutes spent in the pubs of the time, the acting that was so important to him, his role model and teacher, Lajos Tarczy, and a solar eclipse experience.
