Interactive meat industry exhibition in Gyula. The exhibition, which is under national monument protection, presents the tools used in the meat industry since the 1860s: you can see, for example, the cikornyás (a type of meat tenderizer), the sear and scalding-tub, and you can also get acquainted with small-scale industrial machines from the 1930s. After registering, you can take part in a sausage-making demonstration, a “spectacular pig slaughter” and a sausage tasting, and even a sausage-making workshop. A special feature is that there is also a sausage-themed escape room on site.
