An indispensable icon of the Szeged townscape. The first reinforced concrete water tower in Hungary, still in operation today, can be visited from May to September, usually on the first Saturday of the month. In the 46-metre-high building, nicknamed the Old Lady, you can see a permanent exhibition presenting the history of physics and the production of soda-water, but there are also temporary exhibitions. For groups of more than 10 people, advance registration is required.
