The entrance to the cave in Lillafüred is located half a kilometre from the Palota Hotel. The visitable section of the 1,514-metre-long cave is 170 metres. During the 30-minute guided tour, which is available all year round, you can not only see beautiful stalactite formations, but also spectacular dissolution forms with the fancy names of “Mammoth Teeth” and “Mother’s Gorges”. Before group booking registration is required. The temperature in the cave is constantly around 10 degrees, so it is worth dressing warmly.
