Gergely Váczi, an architect who left his career, opened a traditional peasant bakery in the centre of Pécs because of the fear of climate change, whose main credo is that we are on the right path if we know who prepared the food we are looking at; where and how. For the baker from Ormánság (hence the name), sustainability is extremely important, which is why Orma Gerilla Bakery is not only vegan, but its suppliers are chemical-free farmers from the area. The wheat used to make the baguettes, pastries and sourdough breads comes not only from organic farms, but also from farms that regenerate the soil.
