By November, the vineyards have fallen quiet, but in the cellars, this is precisely when the truly exciting part of the year begins: the first new wines arrive. Winemakers from the Badacsony region are gathering at the Hableány for the seventh time to showcase the 2026 vintage. What’s more, it’s not just the fresh vintages that will be poured: each participating winemaker will also bring two older wines, thus you can taste Badacsony’s delicacies from different vintages side by side. After the wine tasting, it’s worth staying on until the evening: after a two-year hiatus, Carson Coma is returning to Badacsony, this time as an acoustic trio. Giorgio Fekete, Barnabás Héra and Bálint Kun will be playing the band’s well-known and lesser-known songs at the Laposa Wine Terrace – a fitting end to a November day on which the new vintage takes centre stage from the very first glass right through to the evening concert.
