László Gutman’s dream made to come true in Kötcse. The winery, recently moved to a new place, offers dishes with the classic flavours of the South Balaton wine region, but it also has some items of its own that have special characteristics. Try the cuvée made from Green Veltelini and Irsai Olivér which is considered a rarity. It is open to visitors even during the winter, but you need to make an appointment if you want to participate in a wine tasting event where they serve a wine tasting snack consisting of cheese and apple. Subject to prior arrangement, you can try their farmhouse plate (cheese, homemade sausage, vegetables), some food made in a cauldron, and also some cakes. While you are in the process of tasting, do not forget to try the Gutman wine jam either.
