Balaton Fruit Syrup Festival at the Folly Arboretum 2026

Elderberry, raspberry, lavender or perhaps a less familiar spicy flavour – now you’ll discover just how much can be packed into a glass of fruit syrup. What’s more, the venue itself is well worth a visit: amongst the trees of the Folly Arboretum, with panoramic views of Badacsony and Lake Balaton in the background, you can sample the range of products from Hungarian syrup makers. The day will not stop at the tasting. Folly has organised family activities, guided walks and fun games, whilst you can also take your time exploring the arboretum’s unique plants in the garden. A September outing where, for a change, a glass of syrup takes the place of a glass of wine.
