St. Martin’s Day Goose Feast – Folly Arboretum and Winery

At the Folly Arboretum, the St. Martin’s Day goose feast does not begin straight away at the table. On 14 November, guests can first explore the Badacsonyörs estate on a guided walk combined with a wine tasting, whilst the garden overlooking Lake Balaton and the vineyards reveal their autumnal splendour. The programme, which begins at half past four in the afternoon, is followed by a four-course dinner, with a carefully selected Folly wine to accompany each course. The menu combines traditional St. Martin’s Day flavours with more creative twists. Chestnut and potato soup, goose ragout stuffed into Hokkaido pumpkin and pasta with plums and lard will be served, accompanied by wines including Kéknyelű and Olaszrizling (Riesling Italian).
