At the foot of the Bükk Mountains, in the charming little village of Noszvaj, the community is taking up wooden spoons again!
On 30 August, locals and visitors gather for the Plum Day, where plum jam simmers in cauldrons and the scent of freshly baked jam-filled buns fills the courtyard of the Farmhouse. The traditional gastronomic event aims not only to preserve flavours, but also to bring the community together. At the event, you can get an insight into the process of jam making, while browsing among handicrafts, and you can also enjoy family-friendly programmes: activities for children, musical performances and friendly conversations in the shade of the trees. Plum Day is a true rural summer farewell, where simple pleasures become a lasting experience.
