The Almagyar Érseki Szőlőbirtok was established in 2009 to save the 100-year-old archbishop's vineyard on Almagyar Hill, which was condemned to be cut down. The estate deals with traditional grape varieties and the production of natural wines from them, as well as to plantations such as selected olaszrizling, mézesfehér, lúdtalpú, kereklevelű, ménesi kadarka, furmint or menoir and 60-year-old leányka (ancient Hungarian grape varieties). The estate's “Borkemping” (Winecamping), “Borterasz” (Wine terrace) and Venyige Spa, established in 2014, are popular for their uniqueness and services. You can stay in buildings set among the vines and stop for breakfast.
