In Tolcsva, in the heart of the Tokaj Wine Region, you can find the Dessewffy Castle, built in the 17th century, now home to an interactive castle and cosmetics history exhibition, cosmetics-making workshops and a beauty salon, as well as a charming café-tea house-wine bar. Entering the building, passing through a wall of old herbal prints and engravings, you can enter the herbal library, which houses a real collection of rare herbs. The themed “herbal beauty garden” around the castle is also worth a visit.
