Máriagyűdi Kegytemplom

One of the oldest Marian pilgrimage sites in Hungary. The Baroque-style shrine and church can be visited free of charge all year round, the basilica is only open during the day. It is worth checking the event calendar, because pilgrimages and masses are held not only on holidays. Next to the church, there is a pilgrimage promenade, a Calvary hill, a lookout tower and a pilgrim centre, the latter of which can be ideal for longer periods of spiritual reflection and spiritual exercises.
