Bóbita Bábszínház

The Bóbita Puppet Theatre was established in Pécs in 1961 and it quickly became known for its humorous, show-like performances for adults and children. In the puppet museum, which consists of three rooms, children can try out the older puppets of the Bóbita Puppet Theatre and they can get acquainted with different puppet techniques: they can also hold, among others, Mosó Masa, Hermelinke and Gőgös Gúnár Gedeon (Hungarian fairy tale figures). The middle room is the venue for temporary exhibitions, while the puppets of the founder of the Bóbita, Lajos Kós, are on display in the third room.
