The Castle of Bodajk was probably built according to the plans of architect József Hild, some two centuries ago – and throughout its turbulent history it has been used as a tourist hotel and even as a sheepfold. In 2021, the building was restored to its former glory and now houses one of Europe’s most modern, interactive hunting and nature science exhibitions in a specially converted interior. It is worth taking a walk in the castle’s ten-acre park, which also includes playgrounds.
