The best-preserved minaret in the country. A small and narrow spiral staircase leads to the top of the 40-metre-high structure. If you do not have a fear of heights or claustrophobia, it is definitely worth climbing the 97 (some sources say 98!) steps, and your perseverance will be rewarded with a magical panorama. If you are here, be sure to look for the crescent at the top of the minaret tower and the cross that starts from it, which commemorates the end of the Turkish occupation.
