Summer welcome evening in the light of flames
On 20 June, the Midsummer's Eve (St. John's Eve) bonfire will be lit at the Tóth Ferenc Winery on Síkhegy in Eger. The event, which is connected to the summer solstice, centres around the traditional bonfire, accompanied by music and wine tasting. During the evening, we will gather on the hillside with glasses of Eger wine and the lights of the town in the background. The lighting of the flames is a symbolic moment: the end of the longest day and the beginning of summer.
