The HELLO WOOD team proves once again that creativity doesn't stop at the workshop doors. The HOLY CUBE RALLY is a community experience on the move, taking participants on a 3,000 kilometer journey to uncover the continent's architectural and design heritage. Expect iconic landmarks, hidden gems, quirky art installations, secret performances, unusual stays, exclusive meet-ups, pop and street art hotspots, wild switchback roads, crystal-clear lakes, and spontaneous detours.
The HOLY CUBE RALLY strikes a perfect balance between adrenaline-fueled driving and slowing down, competitive spirit and absolute freedom. It’s a constantly evolving, borderless universe driven by good vibes, cool people, free-flowing pace, and one final destination: the Cube.
A Route From the Iconic to the Hidden
Along the route, participants can expect extraordinary locations, crazy challenges, and thrilling activities, including:
- Bending the space-time continuum at the Swiss CERN particle accelerator
- An initiation at a brutalist concrete pit-stop: the Wotruba Church in Vienna
- Drawing inspiration from the roots of Modernism in the world of the Dessau Bauhaus School
- Exploring the world-famous buildings of the iconic Vitra Campus in Basel
- Getting lost in the art and alleyway labyrinths of the Venice Art Biennale.
- Slipping into a Dune filming location somewhere in Italy
- Photographing the Matterhorn mirrored in a high-alpine lake
- A secret concert and collaborative creation with a contemporary artist
- Alpine roads, Czech sandstone rock towns, mountain streams, and endless joyrides
"Our ultimate goal isn't speed; it’s connection. We wanted to create a platform where creative minds with a passion for design, architecture, and art can find inspiration and build community through a shared adventure," says Sári Németh, Program Director.

What’s at Stake: The Holy Cube Trophy
While discovery lies at its core, the adrenaline of rally culture is ever-present — a race toward the one and only. Throughout the journey, teams stack up points from challenge to challenge, but ultimately, the highest-scoring squad takes home the event’s iconic namesake trophy.
The cube is the spatial starting point, the bedrock of perspective and design. It is form and function. The only regular Platonic solid that fills space without gaps.

Traveling through 8 countries, it explores Europe’s most unique hidden gems and iconic landmarks, where European culture unfolds as a moving experience, challenges turn into achievements, and the unfamiliar becomes familiar.
No matter where you come from or what you drive, nothing is mandatory here — it’s all about freedom and a wild, bucket-list driving experience. A fully flexible journey with optional challenges or none at all.
