ADVENT FOREST WALK – A walk in the silence of the forest

Walking through the forest at the end of November is a completely different experience. The canopy thins out, the ground becomes visible beneath the soft leaf litter, and amongst the trees we can spot details that we would easily walk past in summer. The organisers of the Zalaegerszeg Advent Forest Tour invite you to enjoy precisely this quieter time of year: with the help of qualified guides, you can discover the natural treasures of the forests around the town and the world of edible and medicinal plants. The programme is the final stop in the ‘Forest Tasting’ series of walks, which spans all four seasons; throughout the year, participants have been able to discover different facets of the Zala landscape. A stamp-collecting logbook accompanies the walks, and those who have taken part in all four events can look forward to a special gift and a prize draw.
