The herbal legacy of everyone’s uncle George is waiting for you in Bükkszentkereszt. In the garden, which follows the heart-shaped form of a linden leaf (the linden is the tree of love), you can admire nearly 21,000 specimens of 150 different herbs. The garden, complete with a lavender labyrinth, can be explored on your own, or you can take a guided tour. Lectures are held in the philagoria, with a separate teaching area for children, where everything is adapted to their height and interests. There is also a wooden playground on site, and a sample shop selling Györgytea products.
