A tour spiced with learning. On the 9.5-kilometre nature trail starting from the border of Nagykovácsi, you can get acquainted with the local wildlife along 8 information boards, and you can even learn about nature conservation challenges affecting the area, as we climb to the highest point of the Buda Mountains. In early spring, it is worth setting off because of the snowdrops, and while walking under the oak and beech trees that provide relief in the summer heat, we can admire the plant that gives the trail its name, the imposing wolfslayer helmet flower. While walking under the oaks and beeches, you should definitely look for a few specimens of the plant that gives the name to the nature trail, the wolfsbane! If you still have strength in your legs after the 450-metre difference in altitude, it is worth walking up to the Csergezán Pál lookout, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surroundings.
