Hámori-tó - Miskolc

A magical destination in Lillafüred, near Miskolc. Lake Hámori, flanked by the famous Palotaszálló (Palace Hotel) and the surrounding steep hillsides, is breathtaking all year round. If time permits, it’s worth taking a walk around the lake; this easy hike takes about 1 hour, and the distance is manageable even with children. Along the way, you can visit the Eszperantó Spring, the Hanging Garden below the hotel, and the Szinva Waterfall. When the weather is nice, you can go boating and pedal boating; what’s more, after purchasing a local permit, you can even go fishing. There are numerous restaurants near the lake, and parking is subject to a fee.
