A trip to the 13th century. Today, you can only see the ruins of the 13th-century castle located on the 635-metre volcanic peak of the Medves Plateau. However, it is worth climbing up to this point, because a magnificent panorama opens up before you from the top: in clear weather, you can even see the High Tatras. There is a free parking lot at the bottom of the hiking trail, but the road to the top can be challenging, so we do not recommend it for those with small children. It is worth dressing in layers, because there is almost always a strong wind at the castle tower.
