Annagora Aquapark, Balatonfüred

If you’re heading to the northern shore of Lake Balaton, it’s worth visiting the Annagora Aquapark in Balatonfüred, where both kids and adults can find a slide to their liking. At this Balatonfüred park, you can choose from a total of 800 meters of slide tracks and 12 different attractions.

You can see how many laps you can do in the “Onion,” how big a splash you’ll make at the end of the “Whirlwind,” or whether you can stay on the rubber tube the whole way down the “Crazy River” slide. You can try to tame the “Anacondas,” or even race down the family slide.

In addition to the varied slides, the children’s pools also feature three toddler slides, ensuring plenty of water fun even for the youngest visitors.

Napfényfürdő Aquapolis, Szeged

Szeged’s year-round water adventure center is known primarily for its long and fast slides. In this amazing water park, you can try out 9 indoor and 4 outdoor slides totalling 1,000 meters in length, including some true record-breakers. Among Europe’s year-round water slides, the longest is the 272-meter-long enclosed giant slide that starts from a 30-meter-high tower, but sliding down the other 223-meter-long enclosed giant slide is no small challenge either! Aquapolis also has toddler slides if you’re visiting with younger children.

Mogyoród Aquaréna Water Amusement Park, Mogyoród

At one of the country’s best-known water slide parks, the various slides are practically right next to one another – you’d have to be in top shape to try them all in a single day! Aquaréna features 28 different types of slides, with a total slide length of 1.5 kilometres. The Mogyoród water park offers family-friendly, winding, and particularly daring slides, so both thrill-seekers and those visiting with younger children can find the right experience for them. In addition to the slides, there are adventure pools, lazy rivers, a diving pool, and a spring cave, but you can also take a break between slides on the shaded beds of the Aqua Lounge terrace.

AquaCity Water Slide and Adventure Park, Zalaegerszeg

If you’re looking to take a dip in Zala County, the AquaCity Water Slide and Adventure Park – one of Hungary’s largest outdoor water slide parks – is an excellent choice. Located on the shores of Lake Gébárti, this adventure center features seven giant slides, as well as a wave pool, a lazy river, a diving pool, and a climbing wall. Visitors of all ages – from toddlers to adults – can find a slide to suit their taste, and when it’s time to relax, you can soak up the sun on the cozy beach.

Aquaticum, Debrecen

If you’d like to combine a summer dip with a variety of experiences, we highly recommend Aquaticum, located in the heart of Debrecen’s Nagyerdő (Great Forest). The 5,700-square-meter water area features a total of 15 pools with different functions. Children are truly captivated by the nearly 1,900-square-meter water play area, which features countless baby slides, adventure pools, and various types of slides. One of the highlights of the water park is the glass-bottomed pool situated 12 meters above the ground, but Aquaticum also features therapeutic pools, giant slides, and sports fields.

BalaLand FamilyPark, Szántód

Located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, the five-star BalaLand FamilyPark is a favourite summer destination for families. Inspired by Jules Verne’s novel Around the World in Eighty Days, the water park section of this adventure kingdom features slides as the main attraction: both the indoor and outdoor areas offer children’s slides, adventure pools, and other exciting water play elements. In addition, the theme park offers interactive programs, and if you’ve had enough of the water, you can explore the dry section of the adventure park.

On the shore, you can take a train ride around Europe, travel by airship, or even “visit” London and Egypt.

If you’d like to extend your beach trip into a few days of relaxation, right next to the park you’ll find the family-friendly, five-star Mövenpick BalaLand Resort Lake Balaton, where you can unwind after a day’s activities in child-friendly rooms and suites.

HungaroSpa Thermal Baths, Hajdúszoboszló

The Hajdúszoboszló thermal baths have been one of the country’s most popular summer destinations for years – and for good reason, as HungaroSpa is Europe’s largest spa complex. Spread across a vast area, the water park, the Aqua-Palace adventure bath, the thermal spa, and the beach are all separate from one another, so people of all ages can find their ideal way to relax. It is also home to Hungary’s first water slide park, where visitors can currently try out 15 giant slides and eight children’s slides.

Sárvár Thermal and Wellness Baths, Sárvár

The Sárvár spa is an ideal choice for those who would like to spend time recharging in addition to enjoying water activities. In the wonderful outdoor section of the spa, you can try out a total of 11 slides, including some truly extreme ones: while one is sometimes dark and sometimes light, the other lets you slide up and down. In addition to the water slides and children’s pools, thermal water and wellness services are also available, making this an ideal spot for multigenerational relaxation.

Zalakaros Family, Adventure, and Thermal Bath, Zalakaros

If you love speed and heart-pounding thrills, the Adrenaline Water Slide Park at the Zalakaros Bath is definitely worth a visit.

The complex offers a total of 400 meters of slide attractions, including five extreme slides. On the Kamikaze and Turbo slides, you can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h; the Rafting–Inga evokes a whitewater rafting atmosphere; the UFO ends with a unique whirlpool; and in the Magic Tunnel, light shows make the ride even more exciting.

In addition to the water slide park, Zalakaros also features indoor and outdoor adventure pools, a wellness center, a children’s area reminiscent of a fairy-tale world, a beach, an indoor bath, and a sauna oasis. Thanks to all this, you can visit the spa with friends, young children, or even members of multiple generations.
