The 1,100-metre-long nature trail belongs to the marked tourist trail, but it is important that it can only be accessed on the nearly 2-kilometre dirt road starting from Karikás Csárda. From 1 April to 31 October, it can only be visited with a walking pass. On the way there, you can see the open-air shepherd buildings and the Shepherd Museum, and on the nature trail you can learn a lot of interesting things about the wildlife and ecology of the dry sand forests. Learning while walking is supported by information boards. According to many, the nature trail is the most beautiful in spring, early summer and autumn.
