We light the fire under the cauldron, and the legendary Kecel mutton stew is prepared!
On the last Saturday of September, the centre of Kecel will be filled with delicious aromas, mouth-watering snacks and community experiences. At the Kecel Mutton Cooking Competition, participating teams prepare their own mutton stew based on their own recipe, which is evaluated by an expert jury. The organizers provide a comprehensive experience with traditional performances and light entertainment programmes, offering both community gathering and a gourmet gastronomic adventure.
