Autumn in Villány: the wine region comes alive with red wines, music, and cellars
On the first weekend of October, Villány dresses up for a celebration once again, for three days, when the warmth of the community and the harvest atmosphere fill the town. At the Red Wine Festival, the cellars open their doors, the squares fill with music, and the wines tell stories: the scent of the vineyards, the autumn sunshine, the work in the vineyards – everything that is the essence of Villány. The festival atmosphere is both lively and friendly: strolling with a glass of wine in hand, you can easily find yourself in a conversation, a tasting, or even a concert.
