When night falls in Mohács, community bonfires are lit in the streets of the Sokac Quarter.
This is how the Sokac Bean Cooking Festival begins. The traditional feast of the Croatian ethnic community is primarily about the special bean dishes cooked in clay pots, and of course, about how we can be together, celebrate, play music, and dance. The wares of the master craftsmen, the ethnic music, and the atmospheric street ball all contribute to making this evening in Mohács truly special for us as well.
