Fish Day in Alsóörs 2025

Alsóörs welcomes Balaton fish lovers again on 27 September. At the centre of the Fish Day in Alsóörs is the fish cooking competition, where teams and individual competitors can present their cooking skills. Competitors can start preparing their delicacies from 9 a.m., which will be evaluated by the jury at noon. And anyone can taste the best fish dishes from 1 p.m. - just by buying a "Pikkely" ticket. The programme starts at 8 a.m. with a fishing competition, during which the participants' catches are put on the scales and in the pots. While the fish dishes are being prepared, children can enjoy a folk playhouse, and the festival will make the day memorable with a picnic atmosphere and family-friendly programmes.
