As the sun slowly sets over Lake Balaton, the first notes ring out on the hillside, glasses are filled, and a summer evening begins – one that is all about music, wine, and time spent together. The Varga BalaTone evenings bring exactly this feeling of life: slowing down, sitting down on the grass or a blanket, and letting the atmosphere carry you away. Throughout the concert series, well-known Hungarian performers take turns on stage – including Magdi Rúzsa, Parno Graszt, and the Bagossy Brothers Company – while the Balaton landscape provides the backdrop. Wine is also part of the experience: the admission ticket includes tastings of several varieties, so the flavours of the wines accompany the evening alongside the music.
