Jazz and wine are a wonderful pairing, as sipping a variety of flavours under the shade of the trees while jazz music plays offers a truly unique experience. This year, Hungary’s six wine regions and all 22 wine districts will be showcased at the Debrecen Wine and Jazz Days, taking place from 6 to 8 August. Hungarian musicians and bands working in the jazz genre will perform on three music stages: 40 groups, ranging from young, experimental jazz artists to experienced, renowned jazz masters, will attend the event. From classic jazz through vocal jazz to fusion jazz, from mainstream to jazz-rock, all the way to jazz infused with world music, the concerts will take us on a journey, but the audience can also catch a glimpse of the meeting of folk and jazz.
