Kocsonyafesztivál (Meat-jelly Festival) in Miskolc 2025

Also in this year, Miskolc is celebrating one of winter’s most special foods, the meat-jelly. Between 14 and 16 February, the Municipal Sports Hall will be transformed into a veritable culinary battlefield, where local and national meat-jelly makers will be showcased. You can also learn the secrets of meat-jelly making, and the most skilful wood spoon twirlers can enter a meat-jelly making competition. Not only the homemade brandies but also the performing bands will keep you in a good mood, and if you are bringing a child, there will be a variety of children’s activities to choose from.
