Gyomaendrőd International Cheese and Cottage Cheese Festival

On 2-5 May, Gyomaendrőd will pay tribute to the two most prominent figures of Hungarian gastronomy, cheese and cottage cheese. The festival, which has been running for nearly two decades, is open to the public free of charge. It is worth arriving with an empty stomach, as you can taste the products of not only local cheesemakers, but also those from abroad. In addition to the cheese and cottage cheese products fair, there will also be a cottage cheese dumpling making, a cheese competition, a kids’ island and a torchlight parade.
